Mr. McDade has worked in the financial services industry since 1986 where he has experience as a Million Dollar Round Table producer, as well as a Manager.  Currently, he is the Managing Partner for Mosaic Consulting an ensemble operation of Private Wealth Advisors and support staff with complimentary specializations that allow them to support a full spectrum of financial planning, estate planning and business owner planning needs for their growing clientèle.

Mr. McDade is also the Managing Principal for the Pittsburgh offices of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp.  Previous to his current positions, he operated Pittsburgh-based financial services and investment operations for Allmerica/VeraVest, Berkshire Life Insurance and The Equitable (AXA).  He was one of eight recipients of the 2001 Paul S. Mills Scholarship awards that were established by the Society of Financial Services Professionals to acknowledge commitment to ethical practice, lifelong education and volunteerism.  Mr. McDade was also awarded the Paul Harris Fellow award from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Mr. McDade attended Rochester Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh and The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he earned a Masters of Science in Management (MSM) in 1994.  He holds the Series 7, 24, 51, 63 and 65 licenses and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Estate Planning Council (EPC), General Agents and Managers Associations (GAMA), Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP).  Don is a past president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the SFSP and has fulfilled the requirements for (PACE), Professional Achievement for Continuing Education.  He is also a Qualifying and Life Member of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

Mr. McDade has earned the following designations and certifications: CFP(R)  in 1996 from The CFP Board of Standards in Washington, D.C., CFS (Certified Fund Specialist) in 1996 from the Institute of Business and Finance in La Jolla, CA, ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) in 1988 from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA, LUTCF (Life Underwriters Training Council) from the American College in 2003 and CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) from the College for Financial Planning in 2007.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh Mr. McDade graduated from Edgewood High School.  He is a member of Edgewood Country Club and resides in Wilkins Township with is wife, Jackie and Yorkshire Terrier, Hercules.  Mr. McDade is an avid golfer and loves to play tennis and paddle tennis.  He is a member of Edgewood Country Club's Division 2, Men's Paddle Tennis Team.
